Ingredients.
1 pheasant breast per person.
2 garlic cloves, smashed. Optional.
1 egg yolk.
Chilli. Optional.
Olive oil.
Dried mixed herbs.
3 tbsp maple syrup.
Plain flour.
Salt and pepper.
Remove any skin from the pheasant and cut into bite size pieces. Put these into a bowl with the garlic, an egg yolk and the maple syrup. If you are using chillis, add these as well. Mix these together and leave to soak for a couple of hours. In a seperate bowl, add your dried herbs and a cup of plain flour, mix these together.
Cover the bottom of a frying pan with olive oil and bring to a moderate heat, now remove the nuggets and cover them with flour and fry until golden brown.
