Ingredients
• 1 pound duck breast, chopped
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1/4 cup onion, diced
• 1 clove garlic, pureed
• 1 tablespoon flour
• 1/3 cup apple juice
• 1/3 cup beef broth
• 1/3 cup dried cherries
• Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
1. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat.
2. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
3. Add meat and brown.
4. Add flour to pan and stir 1-2 minutes.
5. Add apple juice and beef broth to pan and bring to a boil.
6. Lower heat, add cherries and simmer 20-30 minutes or until meat is tender.
7. Garnish with fresh chives if desired.
